Upgrade your daily espresso workflow in one go with the ultimate 54mm Home Barista Set. This bundle includes our precision 54mm bottomless portafilter paired with a matching 53.5mm stainless steel puck screen, giving you everything you need to eliminate channeling and extract café-quality espresso.
What’s Included in the Set:
- 1x 54mm Bottomless Portafilter: Features a 3-ear design compatible with Sage & Breville machines, a food-grade stainless steel head, a filter basket, and a premium wood handle.
- 1x 53.5mm Puck Screen (1.7mm thick): Ensures uniform water distribution across the coffee puck while keeping your shower screen spotless.
Why Choose the Bundle?
- Complete Extraction Solution: Diagnose shot inconsistencies with the naked portafilter while controlling water flow with the puck screen.
- Full Compatibility: Fits Sage & Breville 54mm models including Barista Express, Bambino, Bambino Plus, Barista Touch, and Barista Pro.
- Great Value: Save more compared to buying the portafilter and puck screen separately.
Getting the most from it
Both parts work best with a single wall basket and a grinder that grinds for espresso: our basket guide shows the difference. With the puck screen in, drop your dose by about half a gram (puck screen guide). If your first shots spray sideways, our channelling guide shows the fixes, starting with the free ones.
Guides for your machine: Bambino and Bambino Plus, Barista Express upgrades, in order, Barista Express Impress, Barista Pro and Barista Touch.
Not sure this fits your machine?
It fits every Sage and Breville machine that takes a 54mm portafilter, which is all of the home range: Barista Express, Barista Express Impress, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Bambino, Bambino Plus, Infuser and Duo Temp Pro. It does not fit the Dual Boiler or the Oracle, which are 58mm. Our portafilter size guide lists every model code, and shows you how to check your own machine in ten seconds.
If it arrives and does not fit the machine listed above, the return is free and we pay the postage.
